Liz,

Emily and I just wanted to extend a huge thanks to you, your mom, and the Jazz trio for our October 13-14 wedding weekend in Williamsburg. Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we started working with you on the pre-planning services, the rehearsal coordination, the day-of coordination, the winery set-up, and last but not least the amazing Jazz Trio AND DJ services! We are so happy we went with your full suite package of services it was absolutely wonderful every step of the way! We know the winery has some acoustic challenges, but everything sounded fantastic, including the trio, and all your music. The flow of the music and choices couldn’t have possibly been any better!

All that being said, we are most grateful that we got you specifically- you orchestrated everything so wonderfully, kept everything on track, and our guests had a blast. I really don’t think anyone else could have provided everything that you did. I’ve never seen so many people dancing at the winery at one time!

Thanks again!

All our best,
Matt & Emily Knodt

" Thank you so much. We are so pleased with the job you did. The music you played was perfect. We were amazed at how you could pick the right songs by looking at how the guests reacted! Again, thanks for everything that you did to help make our day so special."

Liz-
Thank-you so, so much for everything! I'll send a more formal thank-you, but I wanted to at least tell you now (as I'm looking at all of the thank-yous I have to write) that you were absolutely outstanding. You went above and beyond what a standard DJ would do. The set up outside - music, mics, sound - as well as coordinating the party after the ceremony. You always had a great feel for the crowd and got things moving and everyone on the dance floor. Everyone has commented on how awesome our DJ was and then tells of all of the bad DJs they've had experience with (or a story of someone else who did). No bad comments for Liz! Your fun, energetic personality was contagious....everyone had a blast and you played a huge part in it! Thank you for helping us have the wedding and reception of our dreams :-) Thanks, too, for the additional pics! Oh...we had a blast in Kauai and Maui...just got back this am. Tough to return to the real world! :-)

Dear Liz,

Hello! I wanted to let you know that I have just sent out in the mail a belated and well-deserved thank you note for all you did to make my wedding so memorable. I said in the note that I'd enclosed a testimonial, but I forgot to! So here it is:

" Ms. Daley's website is right when it states that choosing the entertainment for your reception is the most important decision you will make to ensure the day of your wedding is all you dreamed. I wanted my friends on the dance floor and Ms. Daley didn't miss a beat in getting them there and keeping them there for hours through the night. Ms. Daley was also amazing to work with in terms of putting together my ideal playlist and sticking to it. I also credit her with maintaining a comfortable flow of events throughout the evening. If I could do it all over, I would choose to work with Ms. Daley again in a heartbeat."

So there you have it! My heartfelt and more personal thanks are on their way to you via USPS!

Also, I just saw that you have pictures of my dancing friends on your site--awesome!! Do you have a policy about sharing your digital pictures with clients? I'd love to see them!

Thanks so much,
Ashley Glacel

" I used Elisabeth Daley from www.daleydjs.com>. She is super professional, fast, and was very good. At first I thought it was weird to have a woman and then realized what am I saying? Am I sexist about a woman being a DJ? Anyways she did a superb job and can even arrange for other people to play such as a pianist (which we chose), trios, etc. You can do a 'do not play' , 'must play', and 'play if there is time" list online. She will add anything to her music lists that she doesn't already have no problem. She added Texas Country Music for my husband. I can't imagine when she will need that again.

" What a great party you led at TRCC tonight!. . . I look forward to our daughter's wedding with you in charge. . . I know Allison has given a pretty specific do not play list but I'm sure you can keep the wedding rocking with her more contemporary music. . . Again, thanks for being such a fun DJ tonight. Everyone loved it!"

" Liz was excellent . She had just come here to live when my daughter was married and I had contracted her mother who is in the music business. Her mother arranged for the wedding music and the DJ. Liz was at my daughter's wedding primarily to coordinate the music. She is very professional, extremely pleasant and a delight to work with."

" Last week my country club had a 'ladies night' and Liz was the DJ. She was fabulous and probably adjusts her style to suit the occasion."

" I highly recommend her and believe you will be quite pleased with her as a DJ or Wedding Coordinator."

Hi Liz,

Thank you so much for your card:) I've been meaning to write and thank you -- the reception was absolutely wonderful!! Brandon and I had such a good time, and it is due in large part to you and your mom that everything went so well! I couldn't have been happier with the entire day -- we even got a great sunset!

Brandon and I just got back Friday from a fantastic honeymoon in Hawaii. Very hard to return to work, but I guess we can't be on vacation forever:)

Thanks again for everything -- it was truly a pleasure to work with you, and best wishes with your upcoming weddings!

Elisabeth,
As the current President of the ADJA, I have many duties and responsibilities. Some of them are tedious, and some of them are exciting.
Writing this letter to you will undoubtedly be one of the more joyous moments I will look back on when my term as President is over.
Ed Frank told us about the recent situation where you helped out a fellow ADJA member in need. But not just any member, you helped a total stranger. The only bond between you was your mutual membership in the American Disc Jockey Association.
What you did is a testament to the mission and purpose of the ADJA…and nothing makes us happier than hearing how these goals are being achieved, even if it is just one story at time.
It must have been a little disconcerting to get that initial phone call. You might have even been concerned about being ripped off…you might have felt too busy to help…but instead…you stepped up and helped someone in need.
If you don’t mind, we may want to re-tell this story in our upcoming issue of our Newsletter (Which will be in the next issue of Mobile Beat Magazine) because I think this is something about which our members should be informed. If you are open to this, we would love use your picture and maybe we could arrange for a phone interview as well.
Also, if you will be attending our annual National Meeting at the Mobile Beat Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, I would be honored to shake your hand and thank you once again in person.
I am proud to have been given the opportunity to serve as the President of the ADJA these last two years, and I am doubly proud to have someone like you as one of our members.

Sincerely,Peter Merry

Dear Elisabeth,
It is a rare thing to be able to thank one of my peers and fellow members of the ADJA for their unselfish spirit when it comes to helping out a fellow DJ.
Very often this kind of thing goes un noticed. I am glad it didn't this time.
I am proud to stand with you as a member of the ADJA and as your peer.

Sincerely,

Elisabeth,

I heard of your gesture to help a fellow DJ of the ADJA and just wanted to say THANK YOU. The splash you made in the industry from Williamsburg, Virginia created a ripple that was felt 3,000 miles away in Portland, Oregon.
